My Story
I was born and raised on the small island of Barbuda, where the loss of my father when I was eight years old first planted in me a desire to care for others.
That calling followed me through life. For more than 30 years, I have worked in healthcare as a nurse, caregiver, and advocate walking alongside individuals and families through some of their most difficult moments.
My journey has taught me that caregiving is about more than completing tasks. iIt is about dignity, trust, presence, compassion, and seeing the whole person.
A calling That Blooms shares the experiences that shaped me, the people who changed my life, and the purpose. I discovered through serving others.
